Multi-Asset OTSW Guidelines

Multi-Asset Requirements

ERRV must be capable of responding to incidents at any covered asset while DCs may be providing OTSW cover at other locations.

OTSW Finish Time

DCs must complete OTSW operations and return personnel to the asset before departing for emergency response.

120-Minute Standard

Total rescue time is measured from alarm to completion of the last DC lift to the ERRV.

Scenario Assumptions

  • ERRV starts moving immediately when alarm is raised
  • DCs complete OTSW operations before departing
  • All vessels travel at maximum safe speed
  • Weather conditions affect all vessels equally

Critical Considerations

  • Verify actual vessel speeds and capabilities
  • Consider weather routing and sea conditions
  • Account for communication delays
  • Review operational procedures
